Mikayla Shepherd '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mikayla Shepherd. I am a junior  at Fairmont Senior High School. I have always wanted to pursue a college career in softball, most of my hard work and dedication goes into softball to be the best I can be. Alongside of softball I work hard in school to always have the best grades I could have to bring home to my family.  My parents have taught me to work towards my goals so i can meet them. I think I am a great candidate for any softball team because I will be willing to work hard and give dedication. Growing up I played baseball with the boys and loved it because you would have to fight and work harder to show them that you could hang being a girl. The main goal I have looking forward to college is to make my family proud and meeting the goal that I have set since I first stepped foot on a field.
