Olivia Masoner '26 Recruiting Profile

I have aspired to play collegiate-level softball since I fell in love with the game at age seven. Throughout the years I participated in soccer, Tang Soo Do, basketball and softball.  I used to play basketball for my high school, but nothing compares to my love of softball. The opportunity to continue playing the sport I love while earning a college degree is my goal.

I am a leader who encourages my teammates on and off the field to be the best they can be, while having fun at the same time. I take pride in being a devoted competitor but also in knowing younger athletes see me as a role model. While I do have many strengths, I recognize the importance of improving and am dedicated to make myself a more complete player.

Off the field, my education, service to the community, family, and friends are what is important to me.  When I am not concentrating on my studies, grinding at practice or workouts, I enjoy volunteering at our local food pantry, umpiring for the local girls’ softball association, traveling, and spending time with my friends. 

Overall, I intend to be a successful student-athlete at a college institution that “fits.” I recognize the effort required to achieve this goal and I am determined to make it my reality.
