Hi my name in Brooke Weyand, I am from Somerset Wisconsin and a new Richmond High School student I do not associate with alcohol or drugs. I have played 2 years of baseball at the age of 5 and 6 years old and from 8 years old on I have played softball. I have played first base catcher and center field I don't play first base anymore due to my speed. When I am behind the plate I am a wall, I have a hockey stance and am not scared to get nailed weather its by the ball or the runner. I love working with other girls around my age and or younger kids. I am very competitive and will do whatever it takes to win. I fight threw everything when I'm up to bat and I never give up. I bat right handed even though I am a left handed fielder and I also slap hit left handed. In march of 2018 My 20 yard sprint (60 Feet or from home plate to first base) is 2.71 seconds and is being worked on everyday. in 2016-17 year my stats were 4 singles, 3 doubles, 1 triple, 1 homerun, 3 strikeouts, 8 walks, about 20 stolen bases, 2-3 Popfly's caught, and 1 double play we only played 10 games that season. I am a team player and am eager to learn new things. I am a team leader if we are down and out I do whatever I can to bring the team back. I am very critical of myself because I know I can be better and there is always room for improvement. I am normally the first one to practice and the last one to leave. I am always practicing weather its in the yard hitting into the net or at the indoor batting cage we have in Somerset. From age 7 to 13 I played a summer league until we moved. As well as playing softball I am a volleyball player and have played since 7th grade I am a front row player and a setter I overhand serve as well as jump serve. I am also a cheerleader for basketball and football and have done two seasons. I am very fit and do a lot of activities which include jet skiing, snowmobile, dirt biking, running, fishing, riding bikes and taking the dogs for walks.
