My biggest goal for college softball is just to be able to compete competitively. Doesn't matter the team, or the field, I just want to be able to grow and fight with a team to keep improving and enjoy the game. I would say my biggest strength is that I'll do whatever it takes for my team. Right now I'm a junior on Varsity for my softball team pitching. I dont like pitching. I'm not great at it, and it's not my primary position, but my team needs one so I stepped up. My biggest goal for my team is to simply improve. Of course I want to win games, but I also want whatever team I'm on to just be the best we can be. My teammates now know pitching isn't my primary spot, but they support me no matter what, and that's what I want to be able to do for my future team. I want to enjoy the game and do what's best for the team. There's always room for improvement athletically, but that's what makes the game fun. I like doing drills to improve and finding new ways to get better for myself and for the team. Academically I do well in school, and some classes I truly enjoy. I've been planning to major in psychology since middle school, and plan to be a psychologist or a therapist. I chose this route because I have struggled with personal mental health issues and want to be able to help people through it the way I was. I'm excited to play softball and college and meet new faces, but most importantly I just enjoy playing the game. It helps release stress, makes me happy, and I'll be thrilled and competitive no matter what team I'm on.
