Personal Statement
The opportunity to play college softball has been the goal in which I have centered my whole athletic career around. I am hardworking both on and off the field. Being a catcher for over nine years, my understanding of the game is highly developed. When my varsity coach decided to move me to third base at the beginning of conference play in the past 2017 high school softball season, this knowledge helped me adapt and thrive in that position throughout my first varsity season as a freshman, and eventually lead me to being named a 1st Team All-Conference player and Clutch Player of the Year. It has also allowed me to thoroughly understand every position making me a great utility player. I easily adapt to positions and can play anywhere I am asked to benefit the overall success of my team. (New video coming soon)
School has always been very important to me. I have always prided myself in my ability to maintain a high GPA and stay involved with my school while playing softball year round. I am involved in many different clubs including science club, pep club, investment club, amnesty international, and key club. I am a very goal oriented person, and I will continue to push myself in academics now and through college.
