There are some similarities between most softball players. For example, as players we should hustle, be dedicated to our softball team, have good attitude and leadership, crave to become better players, and grow as a person in general. However, what makes me standout from others players is the fact that I'm a very competitive player who goes all out on the field no matter if we winning or we are down by ten runs. I leave everything on the field and expect the same from my teammates and coaches. I also try to cheer myself up after making mistakes and learn from them. Also, I communicate the same to my teammates when they fail, support them and encourage to focus on the next play.
Like every dedicated softball player, I've been a great athlete on every softball team I played. However, I've been alway recognized for my speed and hitting. My atlethism allow me to cover the gaps in the outfield, for that reason I almost always played center field. In addition, I am capable. of making big plays like throwing a girl out at third base or home plate from centerfield. Any team would benefit of my speed, base running, hitting and outstanding fielding. My aspirations is to take my softball skills to the next level by playing in college, and keep growing as a player and as a person.
Playing college softball will be part of my college journey. Hopefully I can help my school win a championship. But the ultimate goal will be to earn a degree and start a career in environmental sciences. Hopefully I can fulfill both goals to get on the path I want to be on throughout my journey in becoming an independent and productive human in society.
