Payton Kutz '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Payton Kutz and I go to St. Mary's High School. Being a student athlete has been a dream of mind every since I started playing basketball in second grade. I want to pursue my career athletically and academically. Receiving an opportunity to play basketball at the collegiate level would be an amazing experience. I am willing to push my comfort zone to become the best player I can be. Apart from basketball I have been a natural runner. I love to run and my speed carries onto the basketball court. I am a very hard worker and am willing to go the extra mile to achieve my dream. Collegiate athletics runs in my family. My father was a D1 wrestler and a World Champion in 2003. My mother was a pitcher in a D1 softball program. They inspire me to be the athlete I am today. Academically, I look forward to studying biology or psychology. Education is important to me and my family. As a current high school student, I have many long nights that include practices and homework.  I pursue my other interests through various clubs and groups. I look forward to my future and will continuously work hard. Thank you!
