Megan Olmstead '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Megan Olmstead and I am a 12th grade student from Wolcott, Connecticut. I currently attend Cheshire Academy to further my athletic and academic goals. I am not only a hardworking student taking multiple IB classes I am also a 2 sport varsity athlete in soccer and basketball. This year I was a varsity basketball captain. In college I hope to further my academic and athletic career. Being an athlete is one part of my life that really defines who I am and I hope to keep that a part of my life throughout college. 

Throughout my life I have always played basketball and I think that it is something that partially defines who I am. Basketball has made me friendships and bonds that I will have for the rest of my life. Basketball has not only given me friendships but it has given me athletic and academic drive and competitiveness. I am always working to better myself and my teammates in any way that I can and this included homework groups as a team which resulted in us having the highest team GPA average at Cheshire Academy.
