Personal Statement
Winning the ISAL Championship as a sophomore and junior were the two highlights of my high school basketball career. In my freshman year, we made it to the championship game but fell short. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete because I knew that I had to work harder for my team both in the classroom and on the court. As I entered my junior year this year at Suffield Academy, for a reclass year I set goals for myself both academically and athletically. My goals were to get the best grades I could get and become a better player all around. In the past years, I have been playing high school ball I have learned a lot about teamwork, leadership and what it means to have a second family. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
