Ashly Botz '22 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I can remember I've had a basketball in my hands. I don't remember a time when I didn't love to play.  Over the years I have gone from co-ed  kindergarten basketball to playing in the state tournament this year. Basketball has always challenged me and playing constantly taught me new things about myself.  I have been captain for the last two years and I enjoy taking leadership on the court. If you ask my teammates about me they would say that I am the motivation and optimist of the team. I want everyone to love the game as much as I do. I love a challenge and play well under pressure. By putting myself in new situations on the court and in the classroom I have grown and improved in many ways. To put it simply, I play basketball because I love it.
