Hi Coach,

My name is Emma Utterback and I am a 5'8", 130-pound point and shooting guard for Center Grove High School in Greenwood, IN.

I have a 3.67 GPA and am currently enrolled in Center Grove High School's Early College Program where I'm on track to graduate high school with an associate degree.

I combine my strong leadership abilities with the following athletic traits to help my team do the best we can to win basketball games:

• a long, quick, shifty guard possessing a strong handle
• a powerful court presence with solid vision, driving, and passing ability
• a high basketball IQ and the ability to make my teammates around me better
• a solid defender with the ability to defend full court
• significantly improved my mid-range game through skill development
• ability to attack and kick to shooters or attack and finish at the rim with either hand

I am honored to play for Center Grove High School and my club team, Team Indiana. My high school team plays in the very competitive Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference (MIC) based in the Indianapolis region of Indiana, as well as against other highly competitive schools that are ranked and have future college players on their rosters. Between the two programs, I have the opportunity to play against and have success against some of the best players in the state if not the Midwest. Team Indiana's participation in exposure events in Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Dallas, and Atlanta have provided me with a competitive platform to play against some outstanding national talent as well.

I have grown up in an ultra competitive family where we all support yet push each other. My competitive drive is complemented by my laid back and fun nature. It helps me balance the stress and pressures of high-level athletics and academics. I have two sisters. Allison is a freshman guard for the Lewis University basketball team in Romeoville, IL and Elli is an 8th grader. She is a great soccer player and miler. My dad played football and ran track in college and is the program officer for the National Youth Sports Health & Safety Institute, American College of Sports Medicine. My mom was a standout runner in high school and played basketball, too. She is the rehab services manager at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN.
