Mariah Hueneke '22 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to obtain an Elementary Education degree while playing basketball.  My goal to play college basketball started when I was like 10 years old and is still going strong today.  I always try to be a positive teammate on and off the court and keep everyone motivated, even when they are having an off game.  Staying positive and working as a team is an important part of playing basketball.  I believe I am a strong player, physically and mentally.  I feel I will be a well-rounded individual upon graduation since I am involved in numerous other activities besides athletics such as 4H &  Philanthropy.  I love playing Guard and fast breaks.  I often times am not under the basket for a defensive rebound, but back and ready for my teammate to get the rebound, and make a quick pass to me for a lay up.  Defense is also a strong suit and quick movement is key!
