Winning the Southeast Iowa Super Conference Shootout as a freshman and sophomore is the highlight of my basketball career so far. I was the leading scorer my sophomore year. I grew the most as a student athlete my sophomore year, when I was the leading scorer and we got beat in the substate game. That experience helped me grow as a person and learn what I needed to work on so I can get ready to play at the college level, and help my team make it to the state tournament next year.
I’ve been fortunate enough to be a part of a winning program my freshman and sophomore year. We had a better record my freshman year, but my role was way bigger my sophomore year. I learned a lot of valuable things these past two years. I’ve learned the value of teamwork, leadership, and commitment, since we haven’t been able to make it to the state tournament. I am looking for a college program that will fit me athletically as well as academically. I believe that I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, commitment, and leadership skills to make an impact on your program. As a three-sport athlete and an All State Team pick, I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
