My name is Harlow Griffin. I am in the graduating class of 2027. At a early age I was a very active child and my parents put me in Taekwondo to help channel all my energy and focus into something I enjoy. Taekwondo has taught me to live by the 5 tenets which are courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, and indomitable spirit. These tenets have really helped me grow as a person and as a teammate. I worked really hard and became a 2nd degree black belt which helped push me into a leadership role. I wouldn’t say I had a specific reason I started basketball but I will say that when I joined my first team at the age of 5 my passion was strong and I knew that it was my sport. My dream is to play basketball at a Collegiate level while pursuing my career In the medical field.
