Personal Statement
When you meet me and if I could share with you some of who I am and how I have grown I would say, I have defiantly changed over the years since my parents divorced and we moved away from my birthplace of North Carolina in 2009. I have lived in multiple environments and trained in many different places. Being raised by my father who played college basketball at Moorhead St. and North Georgia I have been pushed to succeed and reach my full capability. Since the age of about 3 years I have loved the game of basketball, mostly because of my parents and family history. All of my life I have played with other men and been fully confident in myself to be just as capable to play in that environment. In the future I hope to play college basketball and study veterinary sciences, and in high school I plan on joining NHS and keeping my 4.0.
I played Varsity as an 8th grader and in the first round of our districts against Trimble County I scored 12 points. I started varsity last year as a Freshman and helped lead my team to a 23-8 record and a District 29 Championship. We lost in the first round Regional Game in overtime to Collins. Going into my Sophomore season I would say I did have to overcome an obstacle at the end of my freshman and beginning of my sophomore year, I had a reoccurring stress fracture in my right shin that prevented me from playing a couple AAU tournaments and missing my first sophomore varsity game.
I am Ranked #55 in the state of Kentucky according to Prep Girls Hoops. I won District MVP this Year for District 29, I was All Conference Team 29th District, I made the All Regional Team for Region 8 here in Kentucky all as a Sophomore.
When it comes to unique skills and personal abilities, I am very tenacious and athletic and I have great ability to get into the paint and finish mid-range shots or layups in a creative and different way. I attack the game of basketball.
