Josie Ogea '21 Recruiting Profile

I love competing!  I love being in a instructional team setting!  I grew up being a 4 sport athlete in a small town.  If I wasn’t in 1 team sport, I was in another because our team‘s success depended on everyone's commitment.   I was not blessed with the natural size advantage but I believed that the great equalizer was the desire to constantly improve.  I lived in the gym and on the field, and I still do!   I have battled through cancelled seasons, natural disasters, and moving away from home.  I am now a 2022 jr college sophomore with all- conference honors at LSUE, and I will graduate in the spring of 2023.  I still want to be part of a special culture and play my favorite game!

I can offer a team hard-work, drive, coachability, and responsibility. I am often the first person to the gym, and the last one to leave. I strive to do my best, at the highest level possible. It is my dream to play basketball on the college level. d like to major in Bioy. My athletic goal is to play at the highest level that I can achieve, and to be surrounded
