Cassandra Evans '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Cassandra Evans and basketball is my life long passion. Basketball has been apart of my life since I could run behind my dad on the sideline, who is a former collegiate coach and player himself. When I started dribbling a ball on my own at 3, my commitment to the sport was solidified. Since then I have considered myself a student athlete. I have always strived to perform well in school and on the court. With the guidance of my coaches and support of my teammates,I hope to continue to master my craft so that I am afforded the opportunity to play at the collegiate level. If given this opportunity, I am seeking a college experience that will challenge me both athletically and academically. I am a huge believer that hard work will always surpass talent. A natural ability is great, but if you do not continue the work to constantly improve you will eventually be surpassed by those who are more driven than you. Another phrase I tend to repeat is practice makes perfect, as long as you practice with intention. When I step on to the court, rather at a game or practice, I give my best efforts. You should practice as though every day is game day.
