Hi, i'm Raynah Young, a student-athlete who is continuously giving 120% on and off the court. Ever since I was young, academics were strongly emphasized in my household. When it comes to academics I take them very seriously. I strive for greatness inside and outside the class room which translates over to the court. For me, I feel that it's my tenacity on the court that pushes me in the class room, and my dedication in the classroom that inspires me on the court. Another thing that inspires me on and off the court is my teammates. I love everything about having a team: the environment, the lessons learned, being able to push each other, and so on.
When it comes to college I aspire to continue my great work in the classroom. I want to be able to push my self to new limits and achieve things I never thought I could achieve. Also to have a team that is like a family. One that works hard, and is constantly pushing one another. I want to make memories and relationships that can last a lifetime. Overall I would say my biggest goal for college would be to explore more of who I am as a person and to enjoy it. For these reasons, I feel I can make a huge difference at the collegiate level.
