Sofiah Wightman Kraus '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Sofiah Wightman Kraus and I attend Hopkinton High School as a sophomore. I am an almost 5'10 post for my high school varsity team. For a post, I am very undersized but I can still score under the basket. I am on the elite 40 team for my club, the Huskies. On my club team, I play a 3 or a 4. Starting in the fall of my freshman year my love for the sport of basketball has increased tremendously. I started to train with a former European basketball professional, Bobby Martin, and worked on every aspect of the game I could think of on my own. The spring of 2023 was my first and only season of playing club, This fall I was not able to due to my varsity volleyball schedule. In just a year my game has changed completely, I am a midrange shooting threat (Working on becoming a three-point shooting threat), and my footwork in the paint is precise. I plan to continue training and play club every season.
