2020 HighlightsMy name is Isabel Wade. I am a 5’5” 110lb class of 2022 guard at The Winchendon School, Winchendon, MA. I started playing basketball in 7th grade in middle school and with a local AAU team in Cambridge, MA associated with the High School. Basketball has been my passion ever since as I continued on with AAU and personal coaching. I feel I have a mental approach to the game and I pride myself on being a very strong shooter. I also work daily on my 3-point shot as well, in order to increase my range and consistency. My pace and vision helps me create for my teammates and I am also a determined defender. I take pride in my work-ethic and devotion to the game. I am also involved in cross-country, where I run a sub 22 minute - 5K and have been consistently one of the top 5 runners at my school.
I am truly dedicated in not only becoming a successful athlete, but a student as well. I currently have a GPA that is above 4.0. All of my core classes consist of honors with AP Biology as well, achieving the school's high honor roll the first trimester. Last year I was inducted into the National Honor Society. I love being part of a team and working to achieve a common goal. I hope this AAU season creates growth for me as an athlete and a person. I sincerely love the game of basketball. Creating a future through the game I love would be an unbelievable experience. I look forward to continuing to push myself to become the best player I can be and confident that, if given the opportunity, my knowledge, work-ethic, and leadership will allow me to contribute to any program.
