Personal Statement

Everyday is an opportunity to get better. I believe that we should do our best when our best is expected. And our best is expected everyday. Always ready to work hard. I have a story to tell and playing college basketball is going to be part of that story. My high school gave me a chance when I didn't past the admissions test. I have been an honor student since I walked in their doors. Maintaining a 3.5 or higher GPA since the 6th grade. I say that to say "All I need is an opportunity ".

ActivitiesAs active member of the Del Sprite/Delta GEMS Youth Group (2017-2019), I actively volunteered my time, monies, and physical resources to give back to the local Saginaw community by participating in the following activities: Alzheimer’s, Breast Cancer, Down Syndrome, and Sickle Cell Walks, Go Red for Heart Disease, First Ward READ Program, African Cultural Arts Festival, East Side Soup Kitchen, Mission, and the Underground Railroad. For the 2018-19 school year, I was voted as “Sprite of the Year;” in addition, I received the “Platinum and Entrepreneur Awards” for selling the most advertisements, patrons, and ball tickets for our annual academic and talent showcase.
