Kaylie Crabtree '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a daughter, a sister, a friend, a believer, and a teammate.

I don’t know what it is about basketball, but I can’t get enough of it. As far as my memory can take me, my twin sister Kylie (NCSA #2083372) and I would always have a basketball in our hands. I think it was 3^rd grade when I learned how to spin a ball on my finger and all my friends were like, “How do you do that?” That’s when I realized that we both have something special. We’ve known that success isn’t given to you, but you must work for it. I would have to put in the extra hours in the gym when no one else cared to. Basketball isn’t just a sport to me, it is my life. When it comes to basketball, I work as hard as I can to become the best I can be. I take great pride in ball handling and look to find an open teammate. I'm especially proud of my ability to shoot deep,  go into the paint to attack the rim, or pull up for a floater. Academically I get straight A’s and I work hard in school every day. I will keep grinding to achieve my goals.
