Helena Roe '20 Recruiting Profile

    Since I was 10, I have been playing competitive sports at a high level and leading my teams in scoring. I started out playing soccer but decided to focus on basketball once I was determined that it is the sport I want to pursue. I love the team aspect of the game, I am a hard worker, frequently staying late after practice to work on dribbling and my shot. I am coachable and take constructive criticism well. Academically I work very hard and maintain all A's. A year ago I tutored a girl in my neighborhood in language arts and math, bringing her from C's and D's to A's and B's, until they moved. 

    In college, my ambitions are to play basketball, but my primary objective is to graduate with a great degree from a very good business school in four years. Right now I am interested in an accounting. I was born in London, I've travelled internationally, lived in four cities, and have seen and understand the importance of being good at what you do.
