Personal Statement
I have been playing basketball since I was four years old. Once I started playing school ball and with my travel team, I have really wanted to play at the collegiate level. I know playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it could provide many great things for me.
I have strong ball handling skills and continue to improve on those skills daily. My coaches have help mold me into a team leader and I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and work extremely hard.
I am also very conscience about my grades and my goal is to have a 4.0 GPA every semester. My current GPA is a 3.9. I will be taking dual credit classes this year to continue to push myself academically.
I want to attend a college where I can challenge myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college where I can pursue my interest in Pediatric medicine as well as provide the best opportunity for me to continue my basketball career. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents and my older sister proud.
