"Sophia is a very hard-working young lady who absolutely loves the game of basketball. She plays as much as she can throughout the year and is a great teammate to a variety of girls on multiple teams. She has been working with our player development company for over a year now and is a total gym-rat. Kids that truly love spending extra hours in the gym and working on their game aren't easy to come by, but Sophia is one of them. I have to make a conscious effort when designing her workouts to limit drink breaks and intensify the difficulty of each rep because she loves to work so much. If she doesn't have sweat dripping down her forehead and off of her chin within the first 10 minutes of our session, she is visibly disappointed. She's extremely mature, extremely intelligent, and extremely coachable, and all of those things will only improve as she gains experience. It's pretty unbelievable that she is only 14. I'm excited to see where her work ethic, focus, and dedication will take her and I know any program that lands her in the future will not be disappointed."
