I am passionate about continuing my basketball career in college, and I will be a unique and strong addition to a college basketball team. I spent my freshman and sophomore years playing varsity basketball, along with volleyball and track and field. However, mid-way through my sophomore basketball season, I tore my ACL and miniscus during a game. I had surgery in January, and I am spending my junior year rehabbing my injury, training to come back even stronger, and attending an International School in Costa Rica during this year when I am out of my sports. I can't wait to get back on the court, and I know I will bring a positive attitude, my love of the game, and a newfound appreciation for playing when I am able to play basketball again. Going through this injury has taught me so much about myself and about working hard, overcoming obstacles, and making the most of my situation. I am a team player, and I have a love of basketball that is fueling me through, and is motivating me to make myself a great contribution to a college basketball program.
