Personal Statement

  • My name is Kiarra Brooks from Sapulpa Oklahoma, I play basketball for 6A Sapulpa High School.  I have been playing basketball since the 5th grade I'm highly motivated, a very hard worker, a fast learner and Coachable.
  • I'm that player that is always scoring, I'm distributing the ball getting my team involved,  finding different ways to score, on the floor fighting for loose balls, rebounding, while doing what my coach ask of me to put my team in position to win.
  • I was named the 2016-2017 player to watch by Vype magazine, named the Player of the week, also received the MVP of the Sapulpa Vs. Broken Arrow game. I'm always Working on ways to improve my game Mentally, physically, emotionally, as well as my skills, getting better every year Academically is my goal, my schooling has always been a top priority for me.
  •  I am a leader, I believe that if you lead by example and have good communication the team will follow,  you have to have faith n trust in your teammates. 
  • Being involved in the community is a big deal to me,  I went on a mission trip with my Church to Texas to families homes to help the parents and kids that have nothing.
  •   My (AAU) team and i went to North Tulsa and helped Tornado victims clean up storm damages, I also helped out around my neighborhood starting with my neighbor.
  •  Every year I go with my school ball club to take kids shopping for things they have wanted n needed, I love giving back and would like to become the best player i can be on an off the court.
  • I am determined to go to a school that will push me and get me to that next level, (I refuse to be out worked) I do what ever is asked of me.
  •  I do my best to play smart, an get my team in position to win.
  • I am a Leader, Captain, and a Team Player..!!
