I am Callie Glenn from Union, Oregon. Sports have played a huge role in my life. They have taught me many important aspects on the court and on the field. They have taught me how to become a leader, be responsible, hardworking and how to work with the people I am surrounded by. All my sports have taught me valuable lessons but basketball has taught me the most about myself.
Basketball has showed me who I am as a person by testing my limits and pushing me to rise above them. Basketball has shown me what I am capable of doing when I put my mind to it. I see myself as a motivational teammate and leader. I was selected to be captain for varsity basketball and varsity volleyball my freshman year.
By being placed in this role, I have been able to apply what I learned to my academics and become more successful in my grades. I have a 4.0 GPA and would love to attend a school that has a good science program to help me get into nursing school. I also prefer a school where I can make an immediate impact on a team.
