Whitner Bobo '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Whitner but everyone calls me Whit.  I have always enjoyed playing sports, especially soccer and basketball. I started playing club soccer as a four-year-old and basketball in the 7th grade. I feel that playing soccer has benefited my basketball game.  It keeps me conditioned as well as skilled at cutting and driving past other players. 

My collegiate goals are to excel academically and athletically.  I am a motivated individual.  I study hard, take challenging courses, and train hard. My coaches describe me as dedicated, driven, and coachable. I always listen attentively and practice my drills. I also take pride in studying film and analyzing both my performance and the performance of the opposing teams. I know that as a team member my team has to practice and perform as "one heartbeat".  I get along well with my teammates and encourage each one to be the best individual and role model that she can be.

My academic plans are to major either in either agronomy or biology. I am willing to attend college outside of South Carolina if the opportunity is presented. I take pride in being a good student.
