Personal Statement
I pride myself in being a disruptive, lockdown defender and court quarterback on offence. I love the challenge of taking on an opponents toughest and top offensive threat, and going head to head. I use my speed, strength, and tenacity to drive, get steals, assists, and score.
I always bring my positive energy and passion both on, and off the court, as well as encouraging my teammates . I think I act like a coach on the court for my teammates. I am consistently communicating with them, and helping them when they are confused, down on themselves, or just to make sure they are focused. I stay calm in high pressure situations but always play with a high level of intensity.
I believe I see the floor like some of the best point guards and can distribute the ball and control an offence. I am also a quick-release shooter and can create space to hit my shot under pressure. I am a very coachable player who can listen to what I've been told, and apply it right away.
Being coachable has helped me off the court such as in school and my daily life.
Throughout my high school career my goal is to maintain honor-roll. I am driven, passionate, and eager to learn.
