Personal Statement
My goal is to help you win. I am extremely physical inside and also able to shoot outside. If the ball comes near me, I plan to get it, or keep someone else from getting it. I think I would be an asset to your team because of this physical style of play. I also think I would add value because of my strong work ethic and being a coachable, positive player.
I have self discipline and a strong work ethic. You can see this in my daily routine. I am always striving to do better. My days consist of being at the gym and working and learning from players that have different strengths than I do. I try to implement and practice what I learn from them at home and on the court. You can also see my work ethic in my grades. I take honors classes and keep my grades up. It takes a lot of discipline to do that.
Although I am competitive, I like to keep things positive on and off the court. I believe that we are the salt and the light of the earth and it should show through our actions. I like to look at frustration and disappointments as learning opportunities.
My goal is to play basketball, while getting a good education in college. I want to study psychology and eventually work in the field of criminal psychology. I am a good candidate for your team because I work hard and I'm very coachable. I'm always striving to do better, whether it be grades or rebounding. I am physical inside and a great outside shooter. I hope you will reach out to me, if you feel that I could be a value to your team.
