Transfer student-athlete with 4 years of eligibility (Sophomore in 2022/2023)
My dream is to play college basketball at a high level while obtaining a great education. Basketball was my first love. I have dribbled a ball since I was three years old, played club basketball for eight years, and won a State Championship with my high school team.
I am competitive, dedicated, and have a huge desire to win. I am the youngest of four children and had lived in 5 cities and 9 homes by the time I was seventeen. There were no concessions…Do your best is a family motto. Academically, this meant making good grades-I currently have a 4.0 in my first year of college and also doing your best in all extracurricular activities as well.
My older siblings were great students and also participated in many sports and other activities. There were always rules of minimum abilities to get to play, especially with my older brother, which resulted in my working hard and being extremely competitive, determined, and versatile. In middle school, I participated in many sports (often on boys’ teams) including basketball, baseball, flag football, track, softball, and volleyball.
We moved to Texas from California before my freshman year of high school. The move taught me to be adaptable, embrace change and look for opportunities to learn. I made the varsity basketball team and then went on to land a spot competing with the varsity golf team in my freshman year as well. I played in the State Championship tournaments for golf in 2018 and 2021.
My high school has a strong girls basketball program. We competed hard and made it to the final State Championship games in 2019, 2020, and 2021. In 2020, I was a captain on the team and although we lost nine varsity players who were seniors the previous year, we won the State Championship!
I balanced playing two sports and helped to build two high-caliber teams in high school while also focusing on academics...and giving all my best!
I am looking to transfer to play on a competitive basketball team beginning my sophomore academic year 2022/2023. I have four years of eligibility. If you are searching for a hard-working athlete and strong academic student, I hope you'll contact me. Thank you!
