Ashten Groneman '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashten Groneman and I am in class of

2024. I attend Coronado High School in Lubbock, Texas. I started to play basketball competitively in 8th grade. I would play forward throughout that year. When I went to high school, I was still a foward up until Junior year. Junior year I began to play all positions, depending on the line up. I enjoy playing with the team because it gives time to grow and become a better team player. 

I am a strong defensive player, getting a lot of steals or having the opposite team turn the ball over and reading the floor. Scoring on the offensive end has gotten to be a lot stronger.

Being able to score around the perimeter and score in the paint.

Being a good athlete on the court comes with being a good student in the class. Hearing tips from my dad or mom help me grow asa student and player. Upstanding a 4.0 GPA in class helps me with being looked at by colleges. I would like to become a Meteorologist or a storm chaser.

My goal is to do the best that I can and help the team be the best that they can be. My college goal is to get a basketball scholarship at a D1 or D2 college or a Junior Collage, but I would be blessed for any scholarship to play after high school.
