My name is Navaeh Ramirez and a Senior at Lubbock High School. I started getting into the game of basketball when I was 5 years old. I began playing basketball over summers and I would shoot around at the gym or at home every day. I learned the game by watching College ball, the NBA and of course playing it on my Playstation. I started playing in a league when I was in 7th grade. In High School I started on the Junior Varsity basketball team as a Freshman and started Varsity my Junior year. My Junior year I received awards for Steals Leader, Highest FT %, 3-Point Leader and All-District Honorable Mention and broke the school record with 8-3 pointers in a single game. My Senior year I received awards for 3-Point Leader, Steals Leader, 2nd Team All-District and Defensive MVP with 28 deflections, 37 steals, 9 charges and 57 defensive rebounds. Though I played volleyball and ran track in Middle School, Basketball has been my sport since I touched a ball. I have a passion for the game and very competitive. I am looking forward to continuing my education and it would be a great experience to play basketball at the college level .
