Gabrielle Knight '25 Recruiting Profile

After thirteen years of dancing at a strict classical ballet school, I made the decision to try out for my school basketball team. With little to no experience playing, I joined the team. After a while was moved up to varsity because of my hard work. Since then, I have yet to stop working my hardest and because of my ability to pick things up quickly, I have advanced at an astonishing rate. Through my hard work I've learned that despite my lack of time compared to others, I always find a way to prove that I can compete against high competition. Despite the challenges, I've been able to turn years of working and developments into a few months. Other than my work in basketball, I continue to do my best academically, because to me academics are most important. To me not only are grades my foundation, but I know that they have a major impact on my future, specifically in college. I will continue to put forth all of my effort into my education and my athletics to set up the best future for myself, and every challenge I face I will fight through to do so.
