Ella Macatuno '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Ella Macatuno and I am a Junior at Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington Virginia (Class of 2022).  

At Bishop O'Connell High School I currently have a 4.4 GPA and a Cumulative GPA of 3.8.  I am taking an honors classes in World History and French.   I play be th Basketball and Field Hockey for Bishop O’Connell High School. . I am enjoying high school life as a student athlete.  

I am currently playing for the Fairfax Stars 17U Showcase Team as a combo guard.  My AAU/Travel/Club teams in  the past include Fairfax Stars (Fairfax, Virginia), Team Takeover (Washington, DC), and Team Sol (PG County, Maryland).  I truly enjoy basketball while maintaining good grades and achieveing honor rolls during the school year.  

My goal is to continue my education and play sports in college.   I have attended college basketball camps and enjoyed working with the coaches and college student athletes.  It was nice to get a small taste of what college life will be like and I am looking forward to achieving my goals and continue my education and play basketball in college.

I am a hard worker and will know how to balance my education and sports at the same time.
