I've loved playing basketball since I started. If I'm being honest not being able to play my junior and senior high school year gave me an even bigger love for the game. I realized that even though I was with the team I had a passion to play and that it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I'm different because I push through all my pain and hardships. I had knee surgery on January 16th and they said it would be a 6 week recovery process but I was back on the court within 4 weeks. Many people have told me that I am not good enough for this game but I know God gives me strength and continues to keep me. On every team I play I am the loudest and have the most energy not just for myself but also for my teammates that are on the court. My goal is to make it all the way to the WNBA so I can show Christian athletes who have been through a lot and almost lost the love of the game that God can do exceeding, abundantly above all that we can ask think or imagine and that he will never fail us. I want to show them that even though you had surgery or even though you're not getting a lot of minutes all you have to do is believe and trust God and it will happen for you.
