I will be entering my Junior year at Cheraw High School which is located in rural southeast Colorado. I have always golfed with my family and in 2018 started my first competitive golfing for La Junta High School. My HS does not offer woman's golf.
I was able to qualify for the 3A Girls State Golf Tournament as a freshman and having very limited competitive golfing experience. I have been able to improve my game in a short period of time and look forward to continuing to develop my golfing skills through competition and hard work. I would love to compete in college and plan to develop into a competitive player for the next level. As a sophomore, due to COVID, I did not get a HS golf season. I competed in the Pikes Peak Jr Golf league this summer however, where I earned valuable experience. I have also been very active in the weight room, gaining core strength and also been practicing a lot at the local 9 hole golf course with instruction from the golf coaches from LJ.
I am a driven, hard working person. I compete in volleyball and basketball in addition to golf. I am strong academically and prioritize my education while still working hard in sports. I looked forward to talking with you about possible opportunities.
