Hello! My name is Rylee, and I am searching for a school where I can play golf and honor God through my athletics, academics, and character. I have been playing golf ever since I can remember. My dad has been my biggest coach, encouragement, and teacher. He taught me everything I know and made me fall in love with golf, and I never could have imagined that I would be applying to play college golf so soon. However, before my athletics or academics, God always comes first. My identity is found in Christ and who He created me to be. I pray that I can be a light to those around me through all aspects of my life. I work hard to honor Him who gave me these abilities, and I hope to find a college that will spur me on in my pursuit towards Jesus. What I believe makes me a unique athletic candidate is my attitude and outlook on life. I am competitive and driven, and I consistently put in the work to become better each day. However, I know that a bad round of golf does not define me; it is simply an opportunity to learn and grow as a player. As a college athlete, I will be able to pursue my passion for golf and play for the glory of God, as well as form a close bond with my teammates as we push each other to be our best. As for academics, I am ambitious when it comes to my education. I know that the hard work and dedication I put in now will pay off in the future. I feel that my school has equipped me with the skills I need to thrive in a college environment, as well as helping me shape a biblical worldview through my learning.
