Continuing to learn and improve is an important goal that I set for myself. I know I don’t have all the answers and there is always room for improvement. I enjoy and excel when I compete in sports that focus on my individual abilities where my biggest competition is me. In just one year, I have taken 10 strokes off my golf game for 9 holes. I am looking to major in an area of study that I can enjoy and see myself being happy doing for the rest of my life. My focus is to become the best I possibly can in whatever I choose to do. I will be a good fit for your team because I listen, am hardworking, and will put in all the time and effort it will take for me to succeed and continue to grow as a golfer and student. I tend to think of myself as a coachable athlete that will adjust and adapt as needed. I keep a positive attitude, but can also become extremely competitive and I love to prove people wrong. I may not be the tallest or fastest, but I’ll be the strongest and I’ll work the hardest.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my ability to learn. I am looking for a program that will teach me, work with me, and fine tune my game to help me get to a higher level. I always put forth my best efforts knowing how important it is to maintain good grades and setting goals for myself that I feel are able to be met. Goals that will help me continue my golf career in college will keep me on the right path as I near the end of high school and begin college.
