Jaden Smith '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jaden Smith. I am currently a junior at Iowa Valley High School. I've been playing golf since elementary. I love playing this sport and continuing my career at the collegiate level is a goal of mine. I began competing in tournaments at the age of 10. I have golfed in events hosted by CROJA and the Junior PGA Tour. I have golfed on the varsity team since freshman year. Sadly due to a torn ACL and COVID-19 I was unable to play during the 2020 spring and summer season. Even though I suffered an injury, I pushed myself in physical therapy to be able to play volleyball and golf again. Not only do I push myself on the golf course but also in the classroom. I have received the Distinguished Honor Roll every year in high school, and I am a part of the National Honor Society. I am a great leader to others in the classroom and in sports. I am a multi-sport athlete which includes basketball, golf, and volleyball. Even though I enjoy playing every one of those sports, golf is my passion. Being a multi-sport athlete, striving in academics, and being a part of extracurricular activities has made me learn time management skills and being flexible. I am hard working and determined to be my best in everything that I do.
