
Ariana Blagrove C...My future aspiration is to play golf in college and to study to work in the Healthcare Management field. My current goals are to improve my GPA to 3.5 and to consistently shoot in the 70’s. My strengths include being a responsible team player, I am a very calm and cool-headed competitor, constantly striving for self-improvement. I am committed to improving academically and becoming a better person and a better golfer. This year I achieved one of my goals which was to win the Louisiana High School Team State Championship after finishing State Runner-up last year. I am eagerly looking forward to the challenges of collegiate golf. I believe the best is yet to come!.
I am the captain of my high school golf team. I lead by example. I role model integrity, sportsmanship, and perseverance. I assist the golf coach in organizing and executing practice and I encourage my team members.
I have completed over 205 community service hours while in high school. I achieved the Girl Scout Gold Award (the highest award in Girl Scouting) for planning and implementing a successful library book drive for Brock Elementary School in Slidell to address the lack of books in low-income school libraries. I achieved the Girl Scout Silver Award for my leadership in planning and implementing community service projects. I am a Junior Golf Coach at the First Tee of Greater New Orleans. I received the Top Junior volunteer award for the First Tee of Greater New Orleans. I am also an Altar Server at St. Luke Church in Slidell. These efforts are important to me because I believe in giving back to my community. I embody the motto of my high school which is Serviam, Latin for “I will serve.”
