Golf is a sport that is significantly dependent on your mentality. It is very simple to critique technicalities, the matter lies in changing the mental game that can only be gained through practice. Therefore, I pride myself on my mental grit, although it can be considered that the most preeminent aspect of my golf game is my technique. Throughout my career, I have developed the skill of optimizing my potential through the effort I put into every single shot. One of the tactics I gained throughout my experiences is creating a mental image in order to visualize the outcome of my swing. This valuable habit allows me to excel in my performance regardless of the circumstances out of my control. Additionally, breaking into the zone and inducing my flow exists in both my academics and athletics; thus, making me a congenial and lucrative teammate and student. In terms of my role in the team, I bring forward a positive and uplifting atmosphere that supports my fellow players which puts me in a position of leadership. For that reason, my future intent is to continue my own growth as a player and be a pillar in the team, as well as reinforce my team's ability to perform well.
