My name is Ryan Purczynski; I am a Senior in the graduating Class of 2025 at Argyle High School in Argyle, Texas. Since making the move from California in 2021, I joined the Lady Eagles Golf Team as a freshman and played three years as a Varsity starter. During those three years, I helped our team win a 4A State Championship my freshman year, helped secure a few team records, and can proudly say my team never dropped my score in all the events I competed in. However, as I approach my Senior year and look towards my goal of playing collegiate golf, I have made the tough decision to step away from high school golf to focus on competitveng on a larger scale to showcase my talents. I have always played competitive sports growing up, but golf was always the most challenging and one that I enjoyed most. I have been playing golf since I could walk, plastic clubs and all, but I started taking it more seriously eight years ago. I want to compete at the highest level to challenge myself to keep growing and improving. I am a hard worker who understands the importance of sacrifice and responsibility on and off the course. I had the honor of being named Captain of my High School Team as a Sophomore, so I am a leader who understands how and what it takes to compete as an individual in a team sport. I am an outstanding student who has had a 4.0+ GPA since middle school. I am 71st in my class of 364 and have been awarded by my High School for my academic excellence. I would be a great addition to any college team because I am coachable, driven, and a natural leader. Not only do I take care of my game, but taking care of my physical health is a top priority of mine as well. I am looking forward to this next chapter of my life and seeing how far my hard work and passion for the game will take me.
