I have been playing golf since I was 7 years old and love it! I made the Varsity golf team as a freshman and the only girl on the team. I have played in many tournaments and love the competition. The golf professional I train with says I have a natural swing. I have also been fortunate to have had the opportunity to intern during the AT&T National Golf Tournament both in 2012 and 2013. The exposure to the tournament industry was fascinating and the access to the golf professionals was incredible. I truly enjoyed following Tiger Woods for 9 exclusive holes on the day the tournament was closed to the general public due to a freak derecho!
I would like to attend a university with a competitive women’s sports program. My future will be in the sports field. My goal is to become a professional athlete. I am competitive in every sport in which I participate. I made the varsity golf team as a freshman at Bishop Ireton High School, my current handicap is 12. I play golf at Mount Vernon Country Club where I am a member. I have played in The Nordlinger Cup and am scheduled to play in the Spring Fling tournament April 5-6, 2012. These tournaments are part of the MAPGA Junior program.
