The award I am the proudest of is the one Cap Raeder gave to me for "Goalie Most Improved" during an Elite camp. I was basically a self-taught U12 goalie and that week I had to not only unlearn bad habits but develop new skills. In his award speech he commented that I was the hardest working player he had seen in 10 years and my growth in that week was remarkable. This anecdote sums up who I am as a person, player and student. I am excited to apply myself to hockey at the next level in college while learning more about myself and how I want to dedicate my life.
