Leah Schaefer '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Leah Schaefer, I play hockey for the Marshall Girls Varsity Team in Minnesota.  Since I figured out what college hockey was, I’ve had my mind set on that. As I got older I became more serious about my goal. I learned that my grades matter and that needs to be a focus also. I hope to graduate high school as an honor student and also attend a 4 year college to major in education. Outside of hockey, I’m involved in softball, speech, tennis, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), Honor Society, yearbook, MHS ACTS, and Link Crew.  My parents have been a big influence as well as my coaches. A few highlights of my career have been attending the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament, playing AAA hockey for the Midwest Stampede, and playing hockey for the Minnesota Girls Coach’s Association; Premier Prep League.
