2017 HighlightsMy name is Brooke Peplinski and I am interested in continuing to play hockey at college after I graduate from high school in 2019. My goal is to play at a college where I can enroll in a degree program that has courses towards a medical degree or other areas I am considering. I think I would be a strong candidate for a college hockey team because of my teamwork, positive attitude and work ethic both on and off the ice. I have been a starting defenseman on Varsity since 8th grade (this year, as a sophomore, I received All Conference Honorable Mention). My most memorable moments have been going to two state hockey tournaments at U12 level (one year as captain) and most recently participating in the HP 15 National Camp playing with the top girls in the country and getting coached and mentored by many of the college coaches.
I think I am a strong candidate for a college hockey team not only for my hockey ability but also because of my academic achievements. I received the President’s Award in 8th grade (3.7+ GPA for middle school), was WEB leader (8th grade mentor for incoming 6th graders), and was invited to participate in Girls in Leadership in middle school and Student Government in high school.
I'm looking forward to exploring various colleges and bringing my leadership and competitiveness to the next level.
