Summer 2019-on ic...I have been playing ice hockey since I was five years old. Ever since I could remember, I’ve aspired to play college hockey. I'm just starting my recruiting journey and I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I am a team leader that leads by example while also encouraging my teammates. Most importantly I love to play hockey and when I’m having fun is when I’m at my best. I work hard on the ice and I'm not afraid to get into the corners and front net areas due to my many years of playing boys hockey with physical type of play. I have many strong qualities, good vision and ability to make plays and precision passing. I can also be considered a pure goal scorer because of the my shot and hands. I personally strive on being the best back-checker and pressuring the puck on all ends of the ice.
I’m extremely coachable and spend countless hours studying the game. I’ve always striving to get better in all areas of my game on and off the ice. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA while being in the National Jr. Honor Society. I also volunteer at my local youth hockey association to give back to the community with hopes to become a role model to all the young female hockey players in my area.
I want to attend a college where I’m pushed in the classroom and on the ice. I am open to all options and want to find the right college that matches my aspirations in hockey and academics.
