I have always had a competitive edge, whether it be on the ice or in the classroom, achieving my best has always been a driving force for me. As an athlete I am a role model, a leader, aggressive in play, and competitive in the heart. Four years of varsity hockey and two years as a captain has taught me leadership, discipline, teamwork, success, and failure. My leadership has earned me the Nangle leadership award. As a student, I have demonstrated characteristics of discipline, diligence, eagerness, patience, integrity, and creativity placing me in the top 15% of my class. I aspire to go to nursing school and eventually become a nurse. Through this process I will continue to employ these characteristics. My personal goal is to represent my school not only as a student but apart of a women's ice hockey team.
